The BlueFunk Sessions have firmly established themselves as a highly successful format.

Rainer Trendelenburg (b) invites different international and local guests to 2 to 3 concerts a year, each with a different theme. Whether „Southern Rock“, „Motown“, „Ray Charles“, „Sly & The Family Stone“, „Frank Zappa“, „80’s New Wave“ or „Jazz meets Funk“, the spectrum is broad.

The procedure is the same every time: the set list is sent to the artists and they meet the evening before for a warm-up. Then the next evening they go straight on stage live. So every Session is typically BlueFunk and a unique experience.
